Former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad is all set to don coach’s hat again as the 49-year-old will be coaching Afghanistan Premier League’s franchise Nangarhar in the upcoming season of the tournament, as per a report in Sportstar. A former member of team India’s coaching staff, Prasad is currently associated with Kings XI Punjab. He joined the Indian Premier League franchise before the start of this year’s tournament as the bowling coach. Apart from coaching the Indian team and Kings XI Punjab, he has coached other IPL franchises like Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings as well. He was one of the candidates who had also applied for the post of head coach of Indian cricket team in 2016.
